Driving through, pulled up hotel near me this was the first that popped up. No bathtub just shower but kids are having a blast and aren't complaining!! Easy check in!! Kind man at front desk. No complaints

Very convenient location if you're just passing thru. Excellent and attentive staff. The front desk personnel are top-notch and offer a quick check-in upon arrival. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable. I've stayed here on multiple occasions and plan on returning. Job well done !

Rodeway Inn really came through when we were stuck in an ice storm driving back to Boston this past week. We got a reasonably priced room right away, even though there was a steady stream of other stranded travelers coming in (it was the Sunday after thanksgiving, so super busy). There was even someone there to fix the heat and give us new sheets as soon as we asked (because it was so busy I think we were in as room that usually wouldn't have been used, but they fixed it up fast). We also managed to get 6 people into one room (some sneaking required, but it's an easy motel to sneak around in) so it was a pretty good deal. I get that other reviewers maybe had different opinions, but it's pretty similar to most motels I've been in. If you need somewhere affordable off of I84 to stay, I think Rodeway Inn is a good bet. There was also a tricycle in the hallway, so that was fun.

Leaving a good review just based on the location of the hotel, as a truck driver, I appreciate you guys giving us an opportunity for a chance to a warm bed, clean shower and hot meal. Thank you. Hope to visit soon, on a 34hr reset!

I had a satisfactory experience. Upon arrival, there was a customer in front of me. The staff worked quickly to help him then I was greeted with a smile. I had no hassles checking in considering I was listed as the guest, and my friend who booked the 2 night accommodation in their name was running behind on arriving from Providence, Rhode Island. I was in room 303. The room, hallways, elevator, and common areas were clean. Being in the medical field, I knew what to look for in cleanliness. Housekeeping staff was effortless to reach out to when I needed extra linens per special request for myself. Even parking was not a hassle. All the staff were professional, social and attentive to me. My linens were clean. They have smoking and non smoking rooms. I chose non smoking. I assume the other review complaints of smoky smells came from customers who may have booked smoking rooms?...The breakfast was appropriate. The venue was quiet. I recommend this humble hotel for anyone looking for a welcoming experience. I am an entrepreneur that stays on the road throughout New England, and I have stayed in many hotels. I left the DoubleTree Hilton in downtown Boston to come here and had a more hands on personable experience at Roadway Inn. To me, THAT is the difference in Hospitality. I will definitely come back anytime I am in Northern CT. I was so pleased, that I asked the staff their names so I can address them directly when I return.

Read the reviews and went there knowing that hotel was not up to date, but knowing this the nightly prices reflect that the owner knows he can not charge top dollar and keeps it priced right IMO. The front desk crew and housekeeping are all polite people ready to help. Can tell they are trying hard. Does need a better breakfast selection.
